The 12-room boutique hotel is filled with art created by local and international artists using repurposed materials as much as possible. Wood from the Panama Canal has been upcycled into the floor of Encima, Tantalo’s rooftop bar, and the dining tables in Tantalo Kitchen, the hotel’s ground-floor restaurant. The bar area features cocktail tables created from vintage suitcases.
